Ethan Peña Mock (he/him) is a Tejano actor and director from Houston, currently based in New York City. As an actor, he is interested in the unique actor-to-audience connection that can only be found in the theatre and finding the joy & comedy in every story. As a director, he is interested in work that uplifts the voices of the multicultural working class and is critical of the systems surrounding our lives. He is deeply committed to collaboration and making great art accessible to all.
Ethan has performed a variety of roles in new, established, and devised plays. He has performed with Breaking & Entering Theatre Collective, the Chain Theatre, and the Houston Shakespeare Festival. He has experience directing with Main Street Theater in Houston, the Sixth Festival at Theatre 80 St. Marks, and assistant directing at Fordham University.
When he’s not acting, Ethan can be found buying more books than he can read, studying urban design, jamming to the Grateful Dead & Jorge Ben, and (weather permitting) tossing around a frisbee.
